Ana Untaroiu received the Beckman Scholar award, a prestigious undergraduate research fellowship for the summer of 2016 through summer of 2017. On this award, she was able to travel to the Beckman Conference in Irvine, CA in August 2016 and the Biomedical Engineering Society's annual meeting in Minneapolis, MN in October 2016.
