Charity Rotation and Then...Med School

Will Pavlis, a UVA and Malaria Lab Alum, has accepted a position in the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine's MD-MPH program. Will excited about the opportunity to earn both degrees in only four years, along with the Universities strong ties to the diverse communities of South Florida and Latin America in General. But before Will heads off to Florida, he will be spending a year in Chiapas, Mexico working for Companeros en Salud (Partners in Health) to extablish a surgical program at a local hospital in Jaltenango de la Paz. Congratulations to Will and Good Luck in both endeavors.
