The UVA Malaria Lab has been awarded a grant from The Jefferson Trust, part of the University of Virginia Alumni Association, for the new Infectious Disease in 3D program. The program will enable students to learn production of virtual and augmented reality leaning tools for use in the UVA classroom and beyond. ID is 3D will also bring in speakers who will share their experiences in using VR in the science fields. The process of student application and selection has begun for the 2019 Summer session.
