Adam Huckaby gave presentations for Hop on Science for the Biology Dept. and the Infectious Disease Research in Progress in the Infectious Disease Dept. of the UVA hospital entitled, "Adaptation through copy number variation in the malarial parasite, Plasmodium." He spoke about the copy number variation trigger point model and DNA repair pathways identified through whole genome sequencing analysis of the parasite.
