Fellowship Award

Adam Huckaby received the 2019-20 Society of Fellows Dissertation Fellowship for full support. He received this for his proposal to expand the trigger site model previously published by Adam, CS Granum, MA Carey, K Szlachta, B Al-Barghouthi, Y Wang, and JL Guler in "Complex DNA Structures trigger copy number variation across the Plasmodium falciparum genome." The purposal was also to develop comparative genomics work on different species of Plasmodium. Both parts of the project will be completed before his graduation.
